ABOUT

main bio

I'm Jonas-Peter, a photographer and videographer from Heidelberg who chases light, movement and the moment right before it happens.

Most of my work happens where things actually move: festivals, live sessions, weddings, and brands that need more than a product shot. I like the kind of day where nothing is staged twice and you either catch it or you don't.

I shoot stills and film, I edit my own material, and when a frame needs altitude I put a drone in the air. Small crew, short chain of decisions, everything from the first call to the finished file in one pair of hands.

Right now: weddings, live sessions and brand content across Baden and beyond. Drone work on request, and yes, with the paperwork.

the long way here
  1. 2011

My Grandpa Helmut handed me my first camera

A Minolta SRT101 Analogue, far too many blurry frames, and a handful that somehow worked. That handful was enough to turn it into a habit.

  2. 2018

    Stills started moving

Video became part of the job: live sessions, event recaps, and the first clients who wanted a film instead of a folder of photos.

  3. 2022

    Heidelberg

Studying in Heidelberg, shooting alongside it, and learning that a good conversation beats good gear every single time.

  4. 2025

    Into the air

Drone work joined the kit, which opened up festivals and locations from angles a tripod will never reach.

  5. today

    Based in Baden, working wherever

Photography and film as one service, from the first call to the finished file. Still the same creativity when the light gets good.

how i work

Start with the story, not the gear

Before I pick a lens I want to know what the day is actually about. The best shot list is the one that comes out of a proper conversation, not out of a template.

Real people, real light

I'd rather wait for the light than fake it. Nobody has to pose like a model - my job is to make you forget the camera is there and catch the two seconds when you do.

Fast delivery, no rushed look

You get a first selection quickly and the finished set on a clear date. Colour, cut and sound are done properly, because that is where a set stops looking like everyone else's.

think first, shoot later.
